Comprehensive solution for legal compliance
Under the Whistleblower Protection Act, certain legal entities are required—and others are advised—to operate an internal whistleblowing system. Are you certain that your company fully complies with the relevant legal requirements?
ABOUT THE WHISTLEBLOWER PROTECTION LAW
The purpose of the Whistleblower Protection Directive (commonly known as the “Whistleblower Act”) is to provide a framework for reporting complaints, public interest disclosures, and misconduct, as well as investigating such reports. Not only current employees can submit a report, but also former employees, interns, volunteers, contractors, and suppliers.
We provide a comprehensive solution from the implementation and operation of a rental-based online reporting system to the investigation of potential reports.
Who is subject to the Whistleblower Act?
According to the legislation, every employer with at least 50 employees under an employment relationship is required to establish an internal whistleblowing system. In certain cases, setting up such a system is mandatory regardless of the number of employees.
State and municipal bodies are also required to operate a whistleblowing system. While there are certain exceptions (such as municipalities of towns with fewer than 10,000 inhabitants, and municipal institutions or companies employing fewer than 50 people), voluntary implementation of the system is still recommended for them.
